Spring is here!

Tulips are getting ready to bloom

Spring is here, and with the first round of tulips in bloom, we are officially off and running for the 2022 season.  Despite a few errant dips in temperatures, the warm sunshine and longer days are waking up the flowers around the farm, and our seedling room is busting at the seams with flower babies ready to be planted outside.  We simply cannot wait to begin bringing these blooms to you all!  In the coming weeks we expect more tulips, followed by heirloom narcissus, and then glorious sweet peas! We also expect to see some of our earliest anemones soon, and they always provide such a beautiful surprise as they open.  This week we will begin prepping our open field beds, and transplanting all of those flower babies into the hoop houses.  We are upgrading our farmed area this year to bring some additional beauty to the growing space as well as protection from our local deer population with new fencing. I am so excited to bring this vision to reality and will share some photos with you all as the project progresses.

With all these blooms ready to go, we are gearing up for the first months of our Bloom Club flower subscriptions.  If you are interested in weekly or monthly deliveries of vase arrangements overflowing with gorgeous spring flowers, be sure to sign up soon on our website.  Locally grown fresh flowers have exceptional vase life, and you will be amazed at how long these arrangements last.  Easter and Passover are just around the corner, and Mother’s Day is right behind it.  Consider a unique, locally grown floral arrangement to grace your table or gift to those that you love.  If you are ready for some gorgeous tulips right now, head to our website and place an order!

Stay tuned for updates on what is in bloom each week.
